.
Did you order direct from Milsig?  They do use UPS exclusively.  They might have added Canada Post due to the numerous requests from buyers.
I ordered direct from Milsig's website. Everything I read also stated they use ups.

I'm looking at a few more things about a $100 or so. For their shipping prices on orders under $300 it seems a little pricey for Canada post

Yeah, typically Canada Post is cheaper than UPS and usually less hassle.

My packages (there are two of them) are still showing in Richmond after being droped off last thrusday. I have called Warren at Milsig and he is trying to find a new eta. Canada Post had a delivery time for last Sunday. Not really happy at this point, Ups would have atleast updated the eta by now.

How could it have been a Sunday? Canada post doesn't operate on weekends, all tracking is pretty hit and miss, If it only shipped on the 12 I would expect it at the earliest the 18

Just got back from Toronto. Package came Tuesday after Milsig contacted Canada post to trace it. Missing was my free sling from the sale and the dummy mag. Not sure if the dummy mag is still needed with the new markers but i will find out. The marker looks great and can't wait to use it.

The dummy mag was intended to be used during hopper operation.  Since most owners don't bother with running a hopper, they aren't sent anymore.

Ok, so I guess Milsig is now using Canada Post instead of UPS.  Just ordered a few things and got my tracking number. Hmmm.

What is the delivery date on your shipment?

Milsig shipped out a new tank on Monday, the tracking info still has an expected delivery date for Thursday. But as of Friday (today) it still says processed in Richmond. I have called Milsig as this is the second package from them that is late and I have a third shipment that has no date for delivery. Milsig's response was "no one has complained before when we started using Canada Post."

I would suggest if you are unhappy with your shipment you call them as well. I am very happy with their customer service but think they made a poor choice in a shipping company.  As the shipee your can't even request a trace on your shipments.

Today.

I have been noticing Canada Post tracking is a bit off sometimes.  Right now the tracker says "item delivered" but no one has been to my door yet.  Weird.  Waiting to talk with someone about this glitch.

I will talk with Jacky about why they changed courier.  They always used UPS until now.
